I am deeply saddened to hear of Ryan's passing. The world is a little bit dimmer because of his absence.  When Ryan worked on my team, I was always struck with his sense of decency,  and his constant commitment to do what was right.  Without fail.  Didnt matter if it was "good for the company" or not,  he would always stand behind the right thing to do. ....I still always chuckle  when he called me to pick him up, he said he hit a bird.....I said drive it back to the shop, he said cant, it was a Big Bird.....lol....Big was right, he had hit a Full Grown Hawk...shattered his windshield. Feathers everywhere. A hole the size of a cinder block in the glass. ....I'm still not sure how he hit it?  Ryan was very proud of his daughter. Bragged about her often in the office.  There is no other love quite like the love of a Dad to his daughter. I am positive that he will continue to look after her all of her days.

Family 
Big Man is family to me I have known the brothers or as I called them The Fancher triplets since I moved to the Lansing area while working for Discount Tire. Then when I started working at WOW we became good friends! 
 My heart hurts for this loss many conversations Ryan and I had at WOW outside of work and always when I needed someone to chat with while working the Williamston area. Hayley you have the best dad ever we all miss him. However he will be with you and will help guide the rest of your life as your angel. And he is a pretty awesome angel to have on your side.  



Blaze... Ryan.  There is so much I want to say in this small box and I don't know where to find the words.  We became friends in an online game called World of Warcraft.  Last week I was thinking that in these last 2 years I never got your actual name, and I was going to ask and it just didn't come up.  Such a silly thing to think about, a name doesn't make a person.  Whether you were in game or out in the world, everyone knew your daughter was your life and your top priority.  You still made time to be a great friend to many of us.  We lent an ear to each other to get through some things at different times, and you were always there when I needed a friend.  You were a man who was tough around the edges and could be super stubborn, but inside you were one of the most caring people I have had the privilege to know.  You put others before yourself in a lot of ways.  I wish for you to rest easy, friend.

Haley, none of us knew you but we knew how much your dad just loved you to pieces.  He would tell us about going to your concerts.  Leaving on time to drive that couple of blocks to pick you up from work at night was an important part of his evenings, he would drop what he was doing and sometimes we wouldn't even realize he had gone!  I can't imagine how you are feeling right now but you should know he was very proud of you and loved you very much. 

Flancher family, I cannot begin to express how sorry I am that this happened. Ryan, or how many of his friends on World of Warcraft knew him - Blazin - was an incredible person. I had struggled with depression and felt very isolated and decided to start playing WoW again to try to socialize. I joined a random guild and began raiding with them. Blazin immediately stepped in as a guiding hand, he helped review logs of my performance, helped me with my rotation, and just simply looked out for me. We talked about personal issues, we helped each other by being a shoulder or just someone to vent to. One thing I know for absolute certain is how important his daughter was to him. He talked about her constantly and it was so clear how great of a father he was to her. I just want to pass along to her that our guild on wow may sound like a nerdy gathering of strangers, but we're a family and we were brought together by your dad. Haley, we're you're family too. If you ever need to talk or help in any way, we're here for you too, always. 
He was our guild leader. He went so far beyond what that job entitles and I hope to do the same for him.
