My family and I were saddened to hear the news of Scott's passing. We used to live in Lansing and have many awesome memories with the Cater family. Even today, when pulling out old photo albums we find Scott and the family in many pictures and always have fun retelling the stories. Since we received the news, we have spoken to several old friends and everyone has a different memory to share that all end in smiles and laughing. As time passes, I hope all of the great memories stay fresh forever. Thinking of you all.

Deepest condolences to Tracy and the entire Cater family. I have many fun memories of Scott from high school and our early wenties. He was such a sweet and all around great guy, always with a smile, driving his Scout. Praying for you and that it provides some comfort that he is at peace and with his Mom again.

Our entire family would like to express our great sorrow to the Cater family upon hearing of Scott's untimely passing. His presence in our lives growing up in the Colonial Village Neighborhood will be forever remembered.. We couldn't have negotiated Victor Woods without Scott's compass...
Our prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
