

Skip (Larry) Neumann Houghton Lake Formerly of Lansing Age 76, our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away June 22, 2012 in Lansing. Born October 9, 1935 in Lansing, MI. Skip retired from Industrial Welding after 42 years of service. Throughout his life, Skip enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and trail riding around Houghton Lake. He was a skilled carpenter and craftsman building furniture, dune buggies, and classic Jeep vehicles, most recently a 1959 Willys. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Barbara K. Neumann; 3 children, Michael (Carol) Neumann, Tere Geller, and Laurie (Ryan) Petrowsky; 6 grandchildren, Mickey and Taylor Neumann, Danny and Tommy Geller, and Taraesha (Bryan) Campbell, and Sharisa Petrowksy; great-granddaughter, Addison Mae Campbell; 2 sisters, JoAnn (Ron) Cline, and Shirley (the late, Red) Ovenden; 2 brothers, Butch (Sharon) Fedewa, and Gary (Donna) Fedewa; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda Hamler and Edward Neumann; step-father, Wilson Fedewa; and sister, Katherine Jones. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. with services 12:00 P.M. Friday, June 29, 2012 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Judy Scholten officiating.
