

He was born on October 26, 1936, in Flint, Michigan, to Alice and Anthony Fredericks.
Stanley attended St. Agnes School in Flint before moving to Lansing to begin his career at General Motors, where he worked 39 years before retiring in 2001. He was a Master Tool and Die Maker at Oldsmobile with a Masters degree in Engineering and was known for his skill, dedication, and leadership; receiving many honors while working at GM.
A lover of nature, Stanley found great joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family outdoors. His life can be summed up in three words: family, home, and nature. He cherished the simple pleasures of life and made sure that his family and friends were always a priority.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Stanley is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Fredericks; his children, Stanley David (Kelly) Fredericks, Natalie Federico, and Sara (Brian) Nelson; as well as his stepdaughters, Swan Krejcarek and Stephanie (Paul) Mancine. He was also a proud grandfather to Yessenia Federico, Ryley Mancine, and Christina (Alex) Jamera; and great-grandfather to Lukas Kaplan. Stanley also leaves behind his siblings, Daniel (Kathy) Fredericks and Arlene Naas; his niece, Melanie Shong and her three children; plus ten nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bill and Shirley Eastep. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Fredericks; and his sisters, Joanne (Mike) Potoczny and Betty (Bob) Shong.
