Susan Marie Schweinfurth

Susan graduated from the Michigan School for the Blind and attended the Michigan Rehabilitation Center for the Blind in Kalamazoo, MI and classes at Lansing Community College.

She was actively involved in The Bowling League for the Blind, loved playing cards with friends, enjoyed music, books on tape as well as reading braille magazines, and collecting antique dolls. Susie was a member of the Mayflower Congregational Church, and had a trusting relationship with her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A special thank you to Comfort Keepers for the care and compassion they showed Susan for the past year and a half and in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906) on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10:00am.
