

Suzanne graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, MI in 1960, then received a two-year degree from Davenport Business School.
She met Joseph Ray Anibal at a ski group and they were united in marriage at the First Presbyterian Church in Lansing, MI on November 6, 1965.
Sue’s children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She enjoyed attending sporting events, graduations and other events in which they participated. People were her favorite hobby. She was fun, kind, and generous. Any need she perceived, she was quick to meet.
The most important thing in Sue’s life was her faith in Jesus. Sue and Joe were very involved in their church, Trinity Church of Lansing.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ada Bush; her brothers, Donald and James; and her husband, Joe.
Sue passed away on April 4, 2023, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL at the age of 81. She is survived by daughter April and Troy Hill (Ames, IA), Elise, Luke, Lydia and Jake; son, Daniel and Jennifer Anibal (Bath, MI), Matthew and Zachary; daughter, Leslie and Paul Stettin (Elmhurst, IL), Nathan, Emelyn, and Thomas; sister-in-law, Lois Bush; brother-in-law, Phillip (Edna) Anibal; brother-in-law, James (Merrily) Anibal and many other relatives and friends.
Family will welcome friends at a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Eagle Eye Golf and Banquet Center, 15500 Chandler Road, Bath, MI 48808. The service will begin at approximately 4:00 P.M. Light refreshments will be served. Sue requested that everyone be dressed in either cheerful or Michigan State attire.
