I remember Therese, as a giving, and loving cousin. She loved to have fun, and her smile would light up the room. I have enjoyed her emails, keeping me informed on her family, that we all know she was so proud of. Yeah Dar I can just hear them laughing together, our mamas were special....Sarge loved you guys and lots of memories with you all coming up, where do those years go.....I remember one year when they came up they came to my place and my mom and dad were there too and we watch the old video movies of us all when we were so young...I enjoyed that so much!.

Therese was a funny and feisty lady. She spoke her mind. Often, we agreed to disagree, as friends do. We were neighbors and close friends for many years. Whenever I worked on my yard she would come outside and sit on her glider. I would go across the street and join her on the porch. We would sit together and discuss the day and watch the activity on our street. She welcomed the visit. We joked and laughed together. We sat together the night before she passed and I'm glad I made time for that visit. 

I shared my gardening knowledge with her and she was happy to point out an occasional weed hiding in my flower bed. I will miss her but I have pink and white peonies and lavender in my yard as a reminder of my generous friend Therese.

I remember Auntys visits every summer with her family. They were always busy and fun times. I especially remember her laughter..she was always laughing and having fun. We will miss you Aunty but now you can be with Uncle and walk the streets of Gold.

I met Duane about the time Therese got her GED. I remember how happy and proud she was to have accomplished this. And that is quite an accomplishment at age 63!

FROM COUSIN PATTY ALLWEISS AND FAMILY purchased the Basket of Memories for the family of Therese A. Dimet.

Therese was an outgoing, enthusiastic cousin who always welcomed me when I came to town. She generously shared the genealogy research she had gathered over the years with me. It is because of her that I have photos of our mutual 'King' family ancestors. She loved her family and she was blessed to have a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will never forget her. Rest in eternal peace.
