Vance Allen Greene

Vance Allen Greene passed away on June 26, 2017 in his home surrounded by family. Visitation and memorial services to be held Friday, June 30 at Valley Farms Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00am with memorial service to follow at 11:00am, with Pastor David Leisman officiating. Vance entered into life on July 17, 1945, in Lansing Michigan. Son of the late Clovis and Altie Greene (Mills). Vance resided his life in Lansing, Michigan. He married his true love Virginia Greene (Ewing), and had three beautiful daughters. He retired from Motor Wheel after 33 years of service. Vance enjoyed time spent with his family, friends and loved playing with the grandkids. Everyone will remember him for his love for the family and his warm smile. Vance is survived by his wife, daughters, Mindy (Shawn) O’Neill, Jance (Thomas Thom) Greene, Also numerous grandchildren, Amber (Chris) Shank, Cole (Jordann) Greene, Spencer (Betty) Austin, Kaitlin Marsh, Daniel Clark, Patrick O’Neill, Joshua Rau (Kaitlyn Dombrowski), Stephanie Rau, Andrew Rau, and five great grandchildren, Addison and Vance Neller, Brock Shank, James and Aubree Rau, brother, Shelby (Judie) Greene, nephews Douglas (Phyllis) Simms and Mark (Stacey) Fortino and many others. Vance is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Shellene Boyd (Greene), grandson Justin Greene, and sister Maxine Fortino (Greene).
