I've really struggled with what to say. I've known Vickie since I was 5 years old and there were so many amazing memories from my childhood. Vickie was always there for all of us. The music was always on, and you knew it was going to be a great day when Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seager, or The Beatles got cranked up. She loved her Classic Rock. The whistle that you could hear a mile away, the smile that lit up any room she walked into, words of advice, and the shoulder to cry on when we needed. Vickie was truly an amazing woman and second mother.

To Justin, Amanda and Nicole, thank you for allowing me to share your mom with all of you. All the memories made will last a lifetime. I am truly sorry for your family's loss.

I loved Vicki like a second mom. She played the role of second mom to a lot of us growing up. I met Amanda in 7th grade, had my first sleepover at her house, and never wanted to leave. We found out pretty early that if I asked Vicki to stay the night, she never said no. She raised more than her three children. I have so many wonderfully fun memories at her house on Westbury. I loved her flowers every year. I loved when she would blast her music and we would all do our chores (yes I had chores too ☺️). She made us all feel welcomed and safe and I will never forget that. She raised one of my very best friends and I will always consider them my family. I’m thankful for Vicki. I love Vicki. I will miss her. ❤️💔
