Virginia R. (Donohue) Miller died June 12, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born June 26, 1924 in Perrinton, MI the daughter of James and Olive (Jarvis) Donohue. She was preceded in death by John Lewis Miller, her husband of 60 years in 2007. She graduated from St. Lawrence School of Nursing in 1945, and was a member fo the Cadet Corp of Nursing Reserves during WW II. She worked many years as a registered nurse. She enjoyed playing golf and party bridge with friends.

Surviving are her four children: James G. Miller of San Pedro, CA, Daniel J. (Debbie) Miller of Lansing, Nancy A. (Robert) Merriman of Lansing, and Susan T. (Robert) Peterson of Astoria, OR; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Thursday with a 7:00 P.M. Rosary in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Viewing will be from 12 to 1 P.M. Friday at church. Rite of committal will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
