Age 85, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away September 27, 2019. Virginia born in Gratiot County and graduated from Ithaca High School. She pursued training in Saginaw, MI for secretarial work. She later worked as a nurse’s aide.
Virginia is survived by her 4 children, Joyce (Paul E.) Gibowski, Raymond Fawcett, Susanna (Eugene) Ostrander, and Esther Brockway; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Simpson; brother, Leo White; and many other family members and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her 3 husbands, Robert W. Fawcett, Sr., Lloyd Cox, and Harold Wheelock; daughter, Loretta Fawcett; son, Robert William. Fawcett, Jr.; parents, Clarence & Lydia White; sister, Irene Oskerson; brother, Norman White.
A small family memorial will be held at a later date.
