Walter L. Funches

He is survived by his wife of 14 years Blakie (Vance) Funches.

Walter was loved by some many. He adored his family, and was a great husband and father.

In his younger days you could find Walter at home helping out on his family farm, whether it would be taking care of the horses, cows, chickens, goats or working in the fields. He was always there willing to help.

One of his favorite hangouts was the Stars Black and Tan where you could find Walter playing pool and hanging with his friends.

Not only did Walter have a fondness of playing pool, he also liked to fish and hunt when he had an opportunity to do so. He would sit by the water casting his fishing pole until he caught just the right fish or in the woods waiting for whatever he was hunting that day to pass on by.

He loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking for his family and was quite the jokester.

Walter truly had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who loved him.
