A loving father, grandfather, companion and brother passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family, devoted companion, Joyce and McLaren Hospice. He was born March 10, 1934 in Coleman, MI the son of the late Earle Brown and Mabel Jones. Wayne served our country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by daughter, Brenda (Vince) Reynolds, sons, Terry (Brenda) Brown, Rod Brown, 3 granddaughters, Tiffany, Morgan and Courtney, brother, Ralph Brown and Betty, step-granddaughter, Jenny and longtime companion, Joyce. Wayne is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Thrush, second wife, Joanne and Step-granddaughter, Gina L. Knopf. Wayne's family will celebrate his life on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 3 PM with John Blanchard officiating at Tiffany Funeral Home, Lansing. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, January 31st from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice of Lansing.
