Deputy Chief William Wray Wilkins of The Lansing Fire Department. Born March 2, 1941 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Warren Wilkins and Laura Earls passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at the age of 75. William was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Linda Lee. He is survived by his children; Bambi (Dan) Bruno, Randy (Sally) Wilkins, Bill (Fiancée Pam) Wilkins his brothers; Terry Wilkins, Jimmy Wilkins; and 6 loving grandchildren. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 33. Bill was an avid bowler and liked fishing. He loved watching his Spartans. Bill was a devoted husband and loving father. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on September 23rd at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan with the Rev. Dan Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, Michigan.
