Anthony “Tony” Greco Jr., 70, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026. Born in Bethpage, New York, on August 14, 1956, Tony was a one-of-a-kind soul whose larger-than-life personality, generous heart, and unmistakable presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know and love him.
Tony had a way of making life feel like a celebration. He was the ultimate host, a natural storyteller, and a true social butterfly who could light up a room simply by walking into it. He loved bringing people together, filling his home with family and friends, good food, and plenty of laughter. For Tony, cooking was more than preparing a meal; it was a way of showing love. He poured his heart into everything he made, and there was always room at his table for one more person.
His creativity and eye for beauty were evident in everything he touched. Whether remodeling a home, decorating a room, or searching for that perfect finishing touch while shopping, Tony had an extraordinary sense of style and an ability to transform an ordinary space into something special. He took pride in the things he created and loved sharing that passion with the people around him.
Tony also had a love for adventure and the freedom of the open road. Alongside his beloved partner of 16 years, Carlo Ferrante, he traveled the country in their camper, collecting experiences, discovering new places, and making memories together. One especially memorable adventure took them across 16 states to witness the beauty of the fall foliage. Those miles, those moments, and the life they shared became treasured chapters in their story together.
Tony had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs, Marley and Max, who were cherished members of his family and brought him years of unconditional love, companionship, and happiness. Marley passed away a year before Tony, and Max, his faithful companion of 15 years, followed just four days before him. The thought of losing them all so close together is heartbreaking, but there is comfort in imagining Tony reunited with his beloved Marley and Max, together again as a family. The bond they shared and the love they brought into his life will forever remain a beautiful part of his story.
But above all the things Tony loved and all the memories he created, his family held a place in his heart that was unlike any other. He was a father and grandfather who took pride in his family, a storyteller whose memories and words will be carried forward, and a presence whose absence will be felt in the everyday moments when we wish we could hear his voice, share a meal, or simply have him there with us. The traditions he created, the laughter he brought into our lives, and the love he gave so freely will forever be part of who we are.
Tony leaves behind his beloved partner of 16 years, Carlo Ferrante; his four loving children, Dolores Greco, Anthony Greco III, Dorothy Greco, and Amanda Greco; his eight cherished grandchildren, Maria, Rebecca, Caitlin, Ryker, Anthony Greco IV, Ryan, Gianna, and Tyler; and his brother, Robert Greco.
He is reunited in peace with his parents, Anthony Greco Sr. and Dolores Greco, and his brothers, Sam Greco and John Greco, who passed before him.
There are some people whose presence becomes such a natural part of our lives that it is impossible to imagine the world without them. Tony was one of those people. His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but the love he gave us remains. We will carry him in our stories, in our family gatherings, in the meals we share, in the laughter that reminds us of him, and in the countless little moments when a memory brings him close again.
He was loved more than words can say, and he will be missed more than words can ever express. His life was a gift to those who knew him, and his love will remain with us always.
