Antoinette “Nette” Simon was one of 14 children born to the late Samuel and Rose (Lepore) Traino. Nette worked much of her adult life at Sears Roebuck & Company in Youngstown Ohio and then later in Tampa, FL.
Nette was a parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena in Largo, FL. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 54 years, John Simon, of Largo, Fl and three children, John and Renee (Timko) Simon of Youngstown, Ohio; Karen Simon and (Jennifer Averill) of Winston-Salem, NC and Cindy (Simon) and Scott VanErt of Tampa, FL. Nette also leaves behind six beautiful grandchildren, Johnny, Brittany, Ryan, Shayly, Nicolas and Gianna.
“Family” was her calling and Nette embraced every moment that she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and bake, and was a wonderful role model to her entire family. She was a selfless and kindhearted soul. We love our sweet and beautiful wife, mother and grandmother, forever missed, never forgotten.
