Arlene Katherine Fisher

She was born on June 19, 1928, in the Bronx, NY, to Beatrice (Groves) and Louis Osterman. Arlene graduated from Evander Childs High School.

She married John (Jack) Kenneth Fisher on October 5, 1946, and they remained devoted to one another until his passing in 2001.

Arlene worked in Human Resources for the State of New York. After retiring to Florida in 1987, she worked in sales.

Arlene loved dancing, traveling, gardening, sewing, quilting, and playing bridge. She especially enjoyed meeting people and forming lasting friendships.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Jim) Allott, Eileen (John) Brusger, Ken Fisher, Jeanne (Scott) O’Gorman, and Carole (Jon) Zabele; her grandchildren, Kevin (Taylor) Allott, Daniel (Emily), Caroline (Matt), and Kathleen Brusger; Devin and Dillon (Allie) O’Gorman; and Joshua (Niracha), Jack (Liz), and Vincent Thomas; as well as six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur, and her sister, Hazel.

Arlene was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be private.
