She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Mike and Bernie. She was the last living of five children. She is survived by her nephew, David Lang; her nieces, Kathy Lang and Susan Lang Eddlemon; her stepsons, Bob, Don and Jerry Saltz; and many other friends and family.
She was born in Warren, Ohio in 1915 to Antonio and Sara Calland Perpetuo. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bob Jones University. She was a passionate believer in God and had Him actively in her life every day. Although she worked as a court reporter her real loves were poetry and music. Besides playing the piano, violin, and mandolin, she wrote numerous beautiful poems. Betty was a bundle of energy and was out and about socializing and having fun for all but the last few months of her life. She will be dearly missed but a little bit of Betty will remain with all of us.
