Brian graduated from Dixie M. Hollins High School and spent most of his adult life in California and Lake Tahoe. He enjoyed a career in video production, contributing to both Candid Camera and PBS. Brian had a passion for horseback riding and jet skiing in the water. Though he never married, Brian shared a loving and supportive partnership with Rhonda Van Nest.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley FitzPatrick; siblings, Steven Brunelle, Sharon Brunelle Weaver, Lynne Brunelle, and Eileen Berg; and his partner, Rhonda.
