She was predeceased by her parents Garland and Gladys Gibson. Carol was a graduate of Bristol Virginia High School. Along with her parents she operated the Gibson Motel and Mobile Home Park in Bristol, Virginia. After moving to Florida she worked as a real estate agent. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clearwater and was a former member of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol.
She is survived by special friends Wayne and Andrea Cumbow, Mike and Debbie Gifford. A memorial service was held at Serenity Gardens in Largo. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Bristol, VA.
