Born December 14, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Kay’s life was centered on those she loved. She was married to Edmund Gundle in 1956, until his passing in 2019. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.
She is survived by her daughter, Gerri Bradley (Glenn); her sons, Gregory (Kay), Glen, Gilbert (Judy), and Grant (Eric). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Dawn, Gregory II, Tyler (Brooke), Travis (Meg), Hannah (Hayden), and Gordon II; her nine great grandchildren, Dillon, Shelby, Ada, Ellie, Forrest, Liam, Velvet, Cole, and Juliet; five nieces; many other extended family and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Gundle and her son, Gordon Gundle.
Kay was an excellent seamstress, an incredible woodworker, a fantastic cook and baker, a crafter, a card player, and a sports enthusiast. It was not unusual to find her playing Euchre at family parties where she was known to have a shot or two of her favorite tequila.
Kay will be remembered for all the love she gave her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, Fl 33774, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 am followed by a light lunch. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
