I can only echo what everyone else has said about how wonderful and always smiling Uncle Tommy was. He loved his family and friends. I will miss our phone calls. He was so important to us. He will be sadly missed by me and my siblings; Walter, Betty, Wanda, Michelle, Randy, Ronnie and Ricky. Prayers for the family as they go through this difficult time. We love you all.

I am so incredibly saddened by the loss of uncle Tommy.  I can't tell you how heartwarming it is to read the posts and what a comfort it is to see the photos of him with you all.  I have never been able to explain the connection I always felt with him, but now I know.  It is because he made it a point to make everyone feel special and like one of his own, even if we weren't. From the time I was a little girl up to his last Lilly reunion we all shared with him, and even a phone call he and I shared after that, his smile and kindness and love always meant so much to me.  I will miss him dearly. I love you aunt Lorraine and I hope to see you soon.

Heaven gained an angel. A true angel. He is no longer in pain and he may now rest peacefully. 

We had a wonderful Pop, One who never really grew old, or aged a day, His smile was made of sunshine and his heart was made of gold. His smile lite up a room and his hugs were full of love and warmth. Although, he is in heaven now, he will be watching over us, most likely wondering if we will be going to the reunion. 

Pop you were an angel we were lucky enough to hold. A golden heart stopped beating today and our hearts may be broken but to that we must remember this man lived a life filled with family, love and joy. He built a family and was so happy to continue to watch it grow.

Pop, 31 years ago you welcomed me into your family with open arms. By far the Lilly Reunion’s are my most treasured times with you. Seeing you in your happiest times with your family. As your family continued to grow bigger and bigger the more proud you became. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the unconditional love. I will miss you so much 💔

So many memories to share from swimming in your great big pool to sitting on the porch in West Virginia counting how many deer were in the field across the street. Can't forget the famous trip to Dairy Queen by the river for lunch or going to the reunion every year. The big gardens you would grow where we would help pick the vegetables. I remember when you sold the house in Catonsville and had the auction to sell all the stuff you collected over the years. I got so upset that my rocking chair was sold that the lady who bought it gave it back. We sure are going to miss you! I love you Pop. 

I'm very sorry to hear of  " Mr. Tom's passing,  he was very smart and funny and I'll miss his advice..and his West Virginia accent.. I will miss him very very dearly i always looked forward to talking to him back  when you all lived in Catonsville.   He's now in heaven and got a big hug and welcome from JESUS... I will miss him  alot and we'll all be seeing him again in heaven.....Mr Tom may you rest in peace.

As a friend of Susan, I remember spending a lot of time at Mr. Tom and Ms. Lorraine's home.  Mr. Tom was always good to me. I have a vivid memory...1970's sitting at the kitchen table doing my homework.  In walks Mr. Tom. He says to me, " stop reading what your reading...now tell me what you just read." As a child, i was so nervous to do my homework at his house from that point on. 😄

Mr. Tom was a good man. I hope that just knowing that alone will bring peace to his family. May God bless his loved ones at their time of need.
