LaPorte, Christine, 84 of Clearwater died Friday Feb 13th at Morton Plant Rehab. Right down to her hospitality, gift of gab and family values; Christine was a true southern belle. Born in Hardin County, Tenn. She welcomed anyone into her home/life with open arms and believed in goodness in every soul, even those who appeared lost. She gave openly to those less fortunate, donated to numerous charities, and volunteered her time, only asking for love and respect in return. She is predeceased by her first son David LaPorte who lovingly cared for her until his passing Jan of 2013. She is survived by 5 other children, numerous grandchildren and friends throughout the states. I am honored to have Christine as my mother, friend, role model to have her teach me to be strong and always persevere even through the most difficult times.
