I am so sorry to see that Christine has passed. My son Chance  was “friends “with Christine from Carrollwood day school and till his death on April 29th 2020.  They were too young, they shouldn’t be gone.   Your family is in my thoughts  and prayers.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Christine; no words can describe such a catastrophic loss.

I worked with this precious young lady only for a short time, but... she had an immense effect on me.  She was sooo sweet, and loving, and kind, and funny! But the biggest thing I remember is the love she had for her family. We had so much time to chat at our job and we did A LOT of that! She talked about the love she had for her family and we also did a LOT of LAUGHING! Oh, how she made us all laugh! Her light and laughter made those work days so much LESS work, and so much more about JOY.  To her family: please know, that just knowing her for a small snippet of her precious young life very much affected me. 
Her brilliant light and beautiful soul was contagious and will never be forgotten.  I, too, have lost a child, and understand the pain. Please know my whole heart is grieving with you and I send my heartfelt condolences for your loss. 

Mike, this is extremely heart-breaking. Our deepest condolences to you, Kim and Michael. I'm sure Christine was very loved and hopefully she's in a better place now. Our prayers are with you - may God give you all the strength courage to handle this extremely difficult time. Take care of yourselves.

Christine, was tough but cute as heck.  I first met her in 2018 when I entered Riverside Recovery.  She worked there. The last time I saw her was before she just left Riverside this year. I was praying and hoping she would get help somewhere else. She was small with very big attitude.  Rest in Peace beautiful you will be sorely missed! Lots of prayers for your family!

I want to thank the Ortoll family for raising one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. It’s no secret that Christine’s contagious laugh and smile affected many people, including myself. Some of the best memories I have are with Christine. Whenever I was with her my stomach would hurt from laughing so much. She had such a strong personality that truly radiated onto others. I’ll never forget your spunky self. I’ll love you forever and always my little Tiney.

“Strangers become friends and sometimes friends become family.”  Christine was a part of a family that loved her very much. She was a funny, genuine and beautiful person inside and out.   She will be sorely missed.  Prayers of love and comfort for her family and everyone that loved her so much. 

The entire CDS “crew” that basically grew up together have more memories than we can count, with Christine right in the middle of all of them. From young kids to fully grown adults, those memories and feelings we shared will last a lifetime and never go unappreciated. I met Christine when we were both freshman at CDS, and I can remember laughing so hard my stomach hurt with her before we really even knew each other’s names. Christine’s energy and sense of humor was so infectious, I don’t think I’ll ever forget the sound of her laugh. We played soccer together for years on the high school team, and the nights we spent in Orlando with the team still has be laughing out loud to this day. I don’t think I have or ever will meet someone with so much spunk and spirit. Her feisty attitude was always complimented so well but her soft empathetic side. 
I had the pleasure of seeing Christine a few times after high school, and I spoke with her sporadically through social media. We always spoke as if we had just seen each other yesterday, and had been trying to make plans to see each other again. I cherish all the memories and conversations we’ve have together and she will always be in my heart. I love you Christine. 

Christine and my journey started when my family moved next door to the Ortoll family in 1993. A year later, Christine was born, and the rest is history.  We grew up together, walking back and forth from each other’s houses, as best friends and sisters. Our bond only strengthened as we got older. We had our little fights, as sisters do, but our unconditional love for each other always remained. 

If you knew Christine, you knew she had the most infectious laugh in the world. We would look at each other, or say a random word like “skip” and start laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe. Her sense of humor was my favorite thing about her. I can still hear her walking into a room and saying “Hello Skip!!!”

I have never known a connection like the one I had with Christine, and I know I never will again. She was a once in a lifetime person. There will never be anyone more beautiful, funny, spunky, and kind. I will miss her every single second for the rest of my lifetime, but ill keep our memories in my heart forever. 

Skip, You are so loved.  I’ll always keep you in my heart. We’ll be sisters until the end of time.

I remember catching up with Christine one night a couple years ago in Clearwater beach. We walked the beach that night and just talked about all that had gone on in our lives after high school. It felt so good to see her again and reminisce on all of the good times we had.  Though I am crushed I will never see her again, I am greatful for this moment.

To Christine, 
I am going to miss seeing your beautiful smile. You will forever and always have a special place in my heart.

Christine was the type of person who could walk in any room and instantly make everyone in it smile and laugh. I can still hear that infectious laugh of hers so crystal clear to this day. Christine was my closest friend for many many years, and to this day, I don’t think I can say I’ve ever had a friendship like the one I had with her. From spending hours taking goofy pictures with my cats on fancy the MacBook to making up random jibberish words and laughing until we cried. I remember when her dad took us to the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando and we just ran around the place all night giggling and laughing. Or the time we went to the aquarium and took a bunch of weird pictures because we thought we were hilarious. But the times I’ll cherish the most were the nights we just stayed up late talking and laughing about everything. Christine loved so deeply and cared so much for everyone around her. I feel so grateful to have had the chance to know her, love her, and be her friend. And although we grew apart over the years, I never stopped thinking about her or the incredible times we had together. Rest easy, my love. 

My heart and prayers are with your family.  I was one of Christine’s biggest cheerleaders, alongside so many other women who watched her rise from the ashes and blossom into a beautiful beacon of hope. We all got to know the true Christine - compassionate, intelligent, kind, HILARIOUS, spunky, soulful, loving  and resilient. She will always be remembered that way by those of us who saw her in even her darkest of days. We love you forever little one ♥️

Christine was so loved. She was such a blessing in my life and I will always remember her as she truly was, bright, beautiful and loving. She had a big personality and a huge heart for such a small little lady. She was hilarious and goofy and I truly loved her. She will be so missed.
