

Coral Rose Crabill, age 92 passed away peacefully on April 19, 2011, at Oak Manor Senior Living Community in Largo, Florida. She was born on June 24, 1918, in Butler, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William and Jesse MacArthur Rose. Coral was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon Crabill, her brother John Rose, and her sister Grace Hindman. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Coral graduated from Butler Area High School and Butler Business College. She worked for federal government agencies in Washington, DC, and Virginia. Coral and her husband lived in Takoma Park, Maryland, until Gordon's death. They enjoyed dancing, skiing, and traveling together. Coral moved to the Gulfview Mobile Home Park in Largo, Florida, in 1993 , where she lived until 2008. After retiring, Coral spent much of her time volunteering for several organizations including the Presbyterian Home of the District of Columbia, Tampa Bay Harvest, and Christ Presbyterian Church. She also donated many handmade gifts to charities. Burial is being arranged in Strasburg, Virginia. Memorial donations may be made to Tampa Bay Harvest, 612 Princeton Street, Brandon, FL 33511. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo, FL.
