McConnaughey, Dale E, 88 of St Petersburg, FL passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Bay Pines VA Healthcare Center. Dale was born on October 22, 1926 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania to the late Harold & Isa (Edwards) McConnaughey. He moved to this area in 1976 coming from Levittown, PA. He retired from Clearview Oaks Condominiums in Kenneth City, FL as the Maintenance Supervisor. Dale served in the US Navy during WWII. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Lois McConnaughey of St Petersburg, FL, son Richard (Debbie) McConnaughey of Largo, FL, daughter Susan (James) Walterick of Palmetto, FL, four grandchildren Travis, Candice, Jimmy and Trevor and two great grandchildren Ella & Elliot along with two brothers Harold (Bertha) McConnaughey and Virgil (Doris) McConnaughey and a sister Erma Shadle of Pennsylvania.
