Daniel Nichols Maxwell

MAXWELL, Daniel N., 103, of Largo, FL died Feb. 18, 2011. Daniel was born in Roneys Point, West Va and moved to Largo in 1976 from Huntington, West VA. Before retiring he worked with the Veterans Administration for 22 years as an administration officer in Huntington and a sheet manager for the Huntington Federal Credit Union for 5 years.. He served in the US Army in WW II and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Largo. Daniel was a member of Star Lodge #78, F& AM, D.A. V. life member and Republican Club of Greater Largo, all of Largo, Past Pres. National Sojourners Clearwater Chapter #505, Egypt Shrine Temple, Tampa Consistory Scottish Rite 32 degree, Royal Order of Scotland, Royal American Shrine Club, American Legion Post #16, V.F.W. Post #1064, Huntington Commandry #9, O.E.S. Chapter #8, all of Huntington, , Benikedem Shrine Temple, Charleston, West VA,Kentucky Colonel, Admiral of Cherry River Navy, West VA, Past Pres. West VA Credit Union, West Liberty West VA State College Alumni Assoc.Volture 1036 40 et 8 Society, Past Grande Chef De Gare and Past Sou Chef De Chemin De Fer all of West VA. Daniel is survived by several cousins including Mary Jane Arn, Largo and Philip Maxwell, West VA and step son, Trevor Carrier, England.
