Donald Wayne Clayton

Clayton, Donald W., 82, of Seminole, FL, died January 2, 2013. Don was born in Jesup, Iowa to Wilbur Wayne and Eva (Hanson) Clayton. Don received his bachelor degree from the University of Iowa and served as a helicopter pilot in the US Air Force. He moved to Florida in 1959. Before retirement, Don was a systems analyst with Honeywell. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard (1973). He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Gallup) of 58 years; children, Christina (David) Cox, Manheim, PA and Robert (Victoria) Clayton, Seminole, FL; grandchildren, Rebekah (Dustin) Smith, SE Asia, Daniel Cox, Manheim, PA, Thomas Clayton, Seminole, FL and Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL and Gregory Schecodnic, St. Petersburg, FL; great granddaughter, Lydia Kate, SE Asia; brother, Murrell (Corrine) Clayton, Dade City, FL and sister, Frances (Robert) Cornwell, Boise, ID. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Community Church Missions Fund.
