She is survived by daughter, Heather Herbert (Amy Thomas) of Dallas, Texas; son, Greg Herbert (Allison); grandson, Preston; granddaughter, Peyton of Orange Park, FL; sister-in-law, Carla Allison (brother, Malcolm, deceased) of Cedar Grove, N.C.; sister, Libby Parker (David) of Nashville, N.C.; sister-in-law, Debbie Black (Earl) of Emerald Isle, N.C.; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
She worked 46 years as an R.N. She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Largo where she was a Faith Community Nurse, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and assisted with R.C.I.A.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Largo, FL.
Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774 on August 26, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 1507 Trotter Rd, Largo, FL 11 a.m. on August 27, 2026, followed by a Committal Service at Serenity Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL.
A reception will follow at Serenity Funeral Home from 1:00–3:00 p.m. to continue sharing memories and honoring Donna's life.
