

Dorothy Belmonte of Largo, Florida passed away on October 17, 2023. She was born at Mt. Carmel Center in Waco, Texas on March 31, 1941. On August 20, 1960 she gave birth to her daughter Annette and 2 years later on the same day gave birth to her second daughter Teresa.
She was a real estate agent and broker with Century 21 from 1978 until 2015, she said it helped keep her out of trouble. She loved her friends and family at Clearwater Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she was a member since 1983, often helping as a teacher and leader.
She was married to Nicholas Belmonte from 1982 until 2020. Together they raised boxer dogs, boated in and around Pinellas County, collected guns, built model ships, visited civil war parks and made cross country trips to visit their family. They even managed two teenage grandsons from 2000-2008. Dorothy and Nick lived a happy Florida life from 1982 until his death in 2020.
She is survived by her daughters, Annette Potter of Waynesville, OH and Teresa Potter-Heimark of Monrovia, CA; stepson, Stephen Belmonte of Round Hill, VA; sisters, Willeen Bittle of Central Point, OR and Mary Green of Gaston, OR; and grandsons, Theodore Haynie of Floral City, Fl, Christopher Haynie of Xenia, OH, Mark Belmonte Round Hill, VA, and Ethan Belmonte Round Hill, VA.
