91, of Largo, passed away September 20, 2018. She was born in Buffalo, NY, one of nine children, on the family farm.
Dorothy graduated from Clarence High School. She went on to work for the AM & A's department store at the soda fountain, where she met her future husband, Bill. Later, after a move to Florida, she became an employee for the Eckerd Corporation from which she retired. Dorothy enjoyed her family, church groups and activities, sewing, knitting, bowling and could bake an awesome Lemon Meringue Pie!
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William L. Danler. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Keith (Judy) Danler of St. Petersburg, FL and Michael (Deborah) Danler of Largo, FL; her cherished grandchildren, Jason (Cindi) Danler of Largo, FL, Shannon (Ryan) Fahsbender of Denver, CO, Kerrie (Kyle) Doughty of Seminole, FL, and Jennifer (Marcel) Graven of Chicago, IL; her great-grandchildren, Caleigh and Raegan Doughty of Seminole, FL and Zoe and Max Graven of Chicago, IL; and her sisters, Betty Daege of Clearwater, FL and Edna Fraas of East Aurora, NY.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11am at Serenity Funeral Home.
