Dorothy K. Strahlendorf, age 88, of Indian Shores, FL, passed away on January 9, 2025. She was born in Shrewsbury, NJ. on January 30, 1936. She worked for many years as a medical receptionist while raising her family. She and her husband lived in Garwood, NJ for 30 years before retiring to Indian Shores.
Throughout her life she volunteered her time to many groups and organization such as the local library, Women's Club, ISPOA, or the Golden Shores Condo Association. She was always kind, gracious, and friendly to everyone she met. She was loved by many and her beautiful smile will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Strahlendorf and five of her siblings. She is survived by her brother, John Krahnert (Diane); her children, Carol Vega (Robert) and Jon Strahlendorf (Alicia); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Sunday, January 19th, 2025 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, with the funeral service at 5pm, Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
