

Edith Gloria Dromm, 82, passed away peacefully after a short illness on August 30, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 31, 1934 to Charles and Linda Olsen, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her was the love of her life, husband, Robert “Bob” Dromm. She is survived by four children; Kenneth Dromm, Karen (Tom) Cottrell, Laura (John) Anderson, Keith (Heather) Dromm; 11 grandchildren, Pamela (Tom) Coyle, Danielle (Daniel) Sapp, Kimberly (Philip) Smith, Karlee Cottrell, Adam Anderson, Amanda Anderson, Emily Dromm, Caitlin Dromm, Alex Anderson, Laureana Bailey, Brennan Dromm; four great grandchildren, Elijah, Eliana, Isabelle, and Philip; sister-in-law, Mary Dromm; brothers-in-laws, Donald Dromm and Stuart Diamond; and many family and friends. Edith was a stay-at-home mother, but later had a career as a salesperson in retail. After her retirement, she did volunteer work, including 14 years for Suncoast Hospice. She was also a member of New Horizons Widow’s Club. Visitation will be at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, September 02, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday, September 03, 2016 at 10 am. There will be a reception (per Edith "Big Party!") with family and friends at 231 Sunset Drive North, St Petersburg, after the funeral mass.
