

FAUROT, Edward Ellery age 82 of Largo passed away Sunday October 2, 2011 under the care of Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park FL. He was educated at Morral High School in Ohio, Class of 1947, and graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Class of 1951. Mr. Faurot was a retired employee of General Telephone and Electronics and served as the vice president of the tax department. He was in the military for 33 years with the US Army, US Army Reserve and US Naval Reserve. He was a Life Member of the VFW, NERA, Pinecrest Golf Association, Marion Historical Society and Elks Lodge 32 in Marion OH serving as Past Exulted Ruler. He played tenor and alto saxophone for the Masonic/South Pasadena and Clearwater Community Bands, and Suncoast String Band. Survivors include his wife Lois (Delano) Faurot; daughter Nora Goins (Wayne), CT; grandsons Sean (Carrie) and Kevin (Lucy) Goins, CT, great-grandchildren Hailey, Kayla, Trent & Chase Goins, CT; sister Annamary Jacobson, WI; nephews Stephen (Carol), and Mark (Jodi) Jacobson, Curtis II (Kathie), Steven (Nancy) Westphal. Nieces Patricia Jacobson, Susan Shockley (Edward), and grand-nephews Geoffrey Jacobson-Lloyd, Aaron, Ryan Westphal, Matthew Shockley; grand-niece Samantha Shockley; He is also survived by several cousins, numerous friends and Antoinette Brenner and family. Beloved son of the late Mary Case and Charles D Faurot. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday October 7th, 2011 at 1 pm, at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo.
