Elizabeth Ann Berglund, 79, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at her home in Largo, Florida. She was born on January 8, 1935 and grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Kenneth Lee Berglund on September 25, 1955, and lived and worked as a nurse in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a brief time before she and Kenneth moved to Largo in 1957. Elizabeth worked as nurse at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida for 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Clearwater, and she was an active member of the Girl Scouts of America for many years. She enjoyed bowling, baking cookies and chocolate sheet cakes, sewing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her five children, Lee Ann Fosdick of Fowlerville, MI, David Berglund of Marietta, GA, Lori Marks, of Hampton, TN, Lynn Davis of Gainesville, FL, and Paul Berglund of Largo, FL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother George Von Tersch of Surprise, AZ.
