Born June 25, 1921 Emilia Tenney passed peacefully September 8th, 2020. She lived an extraordinary life. Born and raised in Lithuania, she and her family were forced to flee when the Russians invaded Lithuania and seized the family farm and their belongings. Eventually they immigrated to The United States in 1950. They lived in Yonkers, New York before moving to Cleveland, OH to be near a large Lithuanian community.

She married her second husband, Verl Tenney, a hotel manager and they enjoyed a life that enabled them to live in a variety of cities, finally settling in Belleair Beach, FL. Professionally, Emilia was a realtor and then a hotel executive. Her passions included competitive ballroom dancing and tennis.

The family greatly appreciates the friendship, care, and attention provided to Emilia by Gail O’Connor over the past many years. Thank you so much.

She is survived by her son Algis Koncius (Cincinnati, OH), her grandchildren Donald Simone (Basking Ridge, NJ), Adam Koncius (Topsfield, MA), and Pamela Long (Cincinnati, OH), along with great-grandchildren Kaylee, Lindsey, AJ, Aidan, Alex, and Nathan.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Regina Simone, her husband Verl Tenney, and her ex-husband Anthony Koncius.
