Ethel Barcus Murphy went to be with her Lord, December 6, 2016 at Orange City, Florida at Hospice. Born March 30, 1919 in Eastern Shore, Maryland. Moved to Largo, Florida from Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1979.
Her husband died in 1983. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church since 1980.
She loved golf and was a member of East Bay Country Club for many years.
Survivors are 2 sons, Richard and wife Vickie of Osteen, Florida, George Jr. and wife Lynn of Columbia, Tennessee. 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Kelsey and husband Ryan, Jenna and husband Brett. 2 Step grandchildren, Jimmie Earley and wife Tracey, Matthew Westbrook and wife Nicola. She is also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews and 10 great grandchildren.
Services for Ethel will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774, on Thursday, December 15th. Visitation will begin at 12:30pm, followed by funeral services at 1:00pm. Burial to follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
