74, of Belleair Bluffs, passed away at his home on October 11, 2010. He was born in Peoria, IL and was employed as a steam fitter for the United Association of BTJ Steamfitters Local 353 in Peoria. Mr. Carlson attended East Peoria High School and was a Veteran serving in the US Army in Panama. Eugene was an avid golfer, fisherman, and had a jovial spirit about him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ethel Carlson; and his sister, Mariam Carlson Roderick. Eugene is survived by his daughter, Cherie' Floyd (Marvin) of Largo; former wife, Jocelyn Carlson Evans; aunts, Helen Carlson and Martha Feldman; nephew, Shannon Roderick; and faithful four legged pal, Buddy.
