Snider, Evelyn F. "Betty" 93, of Palm Harbor and former resident of Belleair, died May 11, 2014. She was born in Savoy, IL on May 19, 1920 and has lived in Florida since 1968 coming from Big Delta Alaska. She was a devoted military wife of U.S. Army Lt. Col. Bill E. Snider. Evelyn was married to Bill for 51 wonderful years. Bill passed on Nov 22, 1991. She enjoyed golf, and playing Bridge, and loved gardening. She was a past member of the First United Methodist Church of Clearwater. Survivors include daughters, Nancy Wilke (Tom) Palm Harbor, and Barbara (Bobbi) Spong (Rich) Dunedin. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are planned for Thursday May 15th at 11:30 am at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo (727) 562-2080. Public visitation hours are also on Thursday from 11 am until service time. Entombment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel Mausoleum. A gathering of friends luncheon will be held following the service at the Serenity Celebration Gathering Room.
