102, of Largo and formerly of Miami and Chicago, IL, passed away December 7, 2010. She was born in Warsaw, Poland on May 5, 1908 and came to the USA in 1921. She often attended Temple B’nai Israel in Clearwater and always loved to go bowling. Fay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel in 1984. She is survived by her son, Carl Solar and wife, Anita of Largo; daughter, Gail Fohrman of Chicago; grandchildren, Dr. Neal Solar and wife, Stacey of Largo, Gregg and wife, Mary, Lisa and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Max, Josie, Hannah, Jackson, Sophie, Lily, Emma and Noah. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Chicago with a local memorial service to occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fay’s name to Suncoast Hospice.
