Gary was born in Pennsylvania to Sylvester and Henrietta Brochetti. As a child, he developed a love for the outdoors and a strong sense of family. After graduating with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Gary pursued his passion for the hospitality industry, building a successful career in restaurant management and later as a restaurant owner alongside his wife, Susan. His leadership, dedication, and warm personality left a lasting impact on everyone he worked with.
While living in Pennsylvania, Gary met the love of his life, Susan. Their love story was one of true partnership, and they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Together, they built a beautiful life, eventually settling in Florida with their daughter, Morgan. Gary later transitioned into a career as a mortgage broker. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he started his own successful mortgage business, always putting his clients first and building relationships that lasted his lifetime.
Gary was a devoted father to his daughter, Morgan, who was the light of his life. He welcomed her husband Zev into the family with open arms and great pride. Family was everything to Gary, and he cherished the time spent with those he loved most.
Hosting gatherings was one of Gary's greatest joys, and he had a gift for bringing people together over food, laughter, and good stories. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling to new places. A proud UCF Knights dad and a die-hard Tampa Bay Lightning fan, Gary never missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Thomas. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan, his daughter Morgan, his son-in-law Zev, his sister Kathy, his brother Rick, and his loyal dog, Mia. Though he has left this world, his warmth, humor, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to Serenity Funeral Home at 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774.
