Genevieve Tunisia Ripley

Genevieve graduated from Hillsborough High School and went on to build a life centered around family, hard work, and caring for others. On August 23, 1958, she married the love of her life, Wilbert “Bill” Ripley, with whom she shared 68 years together.

In 1974, Genevieve founded and operated the Academy For Tots daycare center, dedicating herself to the children and families in her community until her retirement in 1998. She also worked as a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent. Genevieve was known for her strong work ethic, warm heart, and caring spirit.

She had a deep passion for her family and found joy in cooking for those she loved. One of her favorite pastimes was trying her luck pulling the slot lever, which always brought her excitement and laughter.

Genevieve is survived by her beloved husband, Wilbert "Bill" Ripley; her daughters, Michelle and Renee (Gordon); her son, David; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Serenity Funeral Home.

Genevieve was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all.
