ARMSTRONG, George H, 94 of Clearwater, FL passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home. George was born on May 30, 1920 in Hamilton, Scotland to the late John & Agnes (Crawford) Armstrong. He moved to this area in 1983 coming from Glenwood, IL. He served in the Royal Air Force from 1940 – 1946. George was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a Lawn Bowler and an arden supporter of Robert Burns. He was predeceased by three wife’s Isabel, Evelyn and Ingrid. George is survived by two sons Russell and John and three grandsons Ian, Alec & Conner and a daughter in law Elizabeth. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
