Gerry Jenkins, 94, of Largo, Florida peacefully returned to God on July 15, 2026. Geraldine Elizabeth Jenkins (Muttel) was born September 18th, 1931 in New York City, the third of five children to John Michael Muttel (Jan M Muttl) and Elizabeth Muttel (Alzbita Bojnicanova).
She was raised in New York and New Jerey. Gerry served as an Air Force (WAF) Community and Recreation Specialist. She was married to USAF Pilot Carl Jenkins. Additionally, Gerry served as a Clerk of Indian Rocks Post Office.
She is survived by her brother, Bob Muttel, of Windsor, Colorado; her neighbors who became family, Steve and Maureen Villano; her tight knit church community; and the last in a long line of rescues, her cat, Peter.
