Giuseppe (Joe) Mantione passed away on August 30, 2014, at the age of 59. Joe was born in Palermo, Sicily. He studied architecture and was a skilled craftsman. Over the years Joe owned restaurants in Italy and Georgia, and most recently he was the co-owner of Amici Italian Eatery in Largo. He was strong, hardworking, and generous, and devoted to his family. He was a privately spiritual person . Joe is survived by his wife, Mary; sons Daniel, Joseph, and Michael; step-children Amanda and Duncan; his mother, Francesca Russo; brother Carmelo; sisters Olga and Anna; Grandson Xander; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, all of whom he was very fond. Funeral arrangments are under the care of Serenity Funeral Home Indian Rocks Road in Largo Florida.
