CALLAHAN, Gladys M, 96 of Southern Pines, North Carolina and formerly of Palm Harbor, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her home. Gladys was born on February 20, 1921 in St Louis Park, Minnesota to the late Barney & Marjorie (Smith) Dieringer. She moved to this area in 1986 coming from Camp Springs, MD. After high school she served in the US Marine Corps during WWII. There she met and married Victor H Callahan, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor in 2013. Gladys is survived by her loving sons Ronald Thomas Callahan and Richard James Callahan along with two grandchildren. Friends are calling on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 1pm – 3pm at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
