Gunda Fairchok, 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 after a four year battle with cancer. Gunda was born in Berching, Germany on February 15, 1941 and married her husband Frank, who passed away in 2007, while he was stationed there in the US Army. Gunda moved to Buffalo NY in 1963 and taught herself English and became a US citizen. Gunda was employed in several nursing related capacities over the last 30 years. She was an avid bingo player in her spare time and a member of the Clearwater Ostomy Support Group. She is survived by her siblings Hildegard Stein of Nuremburg, Germany, and Alois Breindl of Adelaide, Australia, children Sandra (daughter) & Joe Colbert of Largo, Florida, Debra (daughter) & Ralph Hayden of Buffalo, New York and Frank Fairchok (son) & Sean Cadigan of Valrico, Florida along with five grandchildren Nicole Quezada, Justin Hayden, Benjamin Colbert, Jenelle Hayden, and Bryanna Hayden, and 2 great-grandchildren Elvys Quezada and Presley Quezada.
