H. Evelyn Hoskinson, of Largo,FL went to be with her Lord on May 5, 2011, with her caring daughter Susan at her side. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph, April 22, 2006. She is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia Sakamoto

(Marty) of Ahwahnee, CA, and Susan Willett (Patrick Coughlin) of Largo, with grandchildren Melissa S. Clement (TJ) of CA & Christopher T. Willett (Trista) of KY, plus great-grandsons Brennan, Declan & Spencer Tarra of CA. She is also survived by her late husband’s supportive sons through the years, all of Florida: Karl Hoskinson of Boca Raton (grandchildren Kristopher & Alyssa) and Randy Hoskinson (Linda) of Clearwater (grandchildren Katelin & Kevin). She also is survived by her loving niece

Connie Robison of ME, and her loved sister-in-law Dorothy Hoskinson of Columbus, Ohio plus many Hoskinson nieces and nephews in Ohio. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her sister, June E. Eck of NJ in 2010. Mrs. Hoskinson was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church of Clearwater and the OES Covenant Chapter 108 of Cinnaminson, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 11, 1921, living most of her life in New Jersey until moving to Largo upon being wed to Ralph Hoskinson of Florida in 1981. They lived the beginning and end of their marriage in Largo with several homes in Spring Hill and Floral City. As a 59+ year resident of southern New Jersey, she had worked in journalism during WWII for Curtis Publishing Company, Philadelphia, for the Ladies’ Home Journal and after the mid ‘60’s until her remarriage for a local newspaper as a social journalist in local newspapers, retiring to marry Ralph & move to FL. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Monday
