Boppo showed me this standing stone formation in North Salem. Later when I worked at summer camps nearby I often took a detour to see this site. Joy rides with Boppo were always educational….

My dearest Bappo, I know you used to always tease me and say “what's a Bappo” because everyone else spelled it Boppo, but you know me I have to be different! I can't explain how much light and joy you brought into my life and anger and frustration but most of all unconditional love. I am great-full, as you lived like no other and you shared your wisdom and kindness to all who knew you. We shared a lot of mornings talking over the wonderful breakfast I'd fix you and Claire and no matter what the day would bring after that it was almost always a day of smiles. You gave me encouragement during the hard times and assured me that “I” of all people was a wonderful mom, and that my son was priceless a “good gentle soul” you used to call him. You've made a huge impact not only in my life but Devon's as well and gave us the love that only a grandfather or in your case Great Grandfather could give. All I can really say is Thank you, for allowing us to be a part of your family. Love Bridget

It was a great experience having Boppo move down here for a fair amount of time so and was able to meet him. It was a pleasure having you around and I enjoyed whenever we were together. I will miss you.

Boppo, I'm so glad you were brought into my life. I will always remember your smile, your hugs and your medical ambushes! I don't know how I'm going to learn how to build a stone wall now. Love you now and always!

Boppo it is unbelieveable that you made it to 85 years of age...truely a miracle you out lived them all. I will miss you. Some of my best lessons in life came from working along side of you and mostly learning by your example. If there is a heaven I know they are stocking up on Molson Golden Ale.  and Four Roses.
