What a man and what a man for God. I did not know Howard as well as some. I had always heard of him and I went to school with David at Largo High. What a powerful message he gave at Julius Dean’s funeral. What I will will always remember is what he said to me one day while sitting in the back room at his home. I was there visiting with Norma and my wife Sherry.
Howard and I were on one side of the room sitting close and talking when he looked at me and said the one thing he was worried about is that he had not done enough for the Lord. He was truly concerned that God had more for him to do and he had not done all God wanted him to. AMAZING. I immediately assured him through words given to me by the Lord that he had done ALL, that he had given ALL and that one day soon he would here the words we ALL hope to hear: Well done my good and faithful servant. Howard Catrett was and is a Disciple of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. If you have ever wondered if there is a God and you knew Howard, your doubts should be removed. If you knew Howard and he knew you one thing is for certain: Howard has prayed for you and your Salvation countless times. Give Howard the greatest gift you can give him: accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour today and when you get to Heaven tell Howard how much he really meant to you. To God be the Glory and Thank You Lord for letting us ALL see the Gospel lived out before our very lives through the Life and Witness of Howard and Marie Catrett.
Titus 2:11- For the Grace of God that brings Salvation has appeared to ALL men.

Howard was the godliest man I have had the pleasure to know. He and Marie are loved by many. God has used them mightily to bring others to the kingdom. He was a faithful servant and a wonderful witness for Jesus!

Howard Catrett was a man of the highest integrity. He was a role model that others should aspire to be more like. His great love for the Lord, Marie and the rest of his family was so strong. When he would relay a story about his boys it was captivating. The one word that keeps sticking out in my mind to describe him is powerful.
